Since 2018 UKIP Wellingborough branch has invited prominant speakers from many walks of politics. Their presentations have been informative, entertaining and above all, inspiring. Here is a list of those speakers, the date they visited Wellingborough and a brief introduction to their work in their specialist field.

26 January Professor Alan Sked Alan Sked, an academic and politician is Professor Emeritus of International History at the London School of Economics He is one of the  founders of the UK Independance Party and has stood as a candidate in several parliamentary elections. His talk focussed on his like in politics and his part in the birth of UKIP.
23 February Albert Burgess Ex policeman Albert Burgess has gathered an immense amount of evidence that he believes proves beyond all doubt that treason was committed by the Heath government in the beginning of the 1970’s and as a direct result the UK is now locked into an illegal treaty with the EU (then the EEC). By upholding all six illegal & treasonous EU treaties, successive goverments have eroded the freedoms and rights granted to the people of the UK created in laws that can be traced back to King Alfred the Great in the 9th century.

Alan Graves, E Midland UKIP, introduced the meeting held in Daventry. Other speakers included Margot Parker MEP.
30 March David Vance Independent Journalist from Northern Ireland, described by many as the male version of Katie Hopkins. We felt with the 30th March being a day after we hopefully leave the EUSSR we get a pro Brexit journalist.

11 May Alan Graves, Marietta King & John Evans  An opportunity to meet the East Midlands candidates standing in the EU election. 3 of the 5 that are standing, attended the discussion.
